S. BRITT - SACRAMENTO, CA
Untitled

what's the idea behind your plates?
I've always fancied the idea & colorful imagery of both the zoo and the circus (much more so than actually GOING to the zoo or circus), with all it's sights, sounds and smells. Seeing how "feeding time" at the zoo is
usually the most entertaining time of the day, I figured why not make plates that allow one to feel just as excited when he/she is enjoying a tasty treat as is his/her favorite jungle friend! Bon Appetite!

any advice you can pass onto aspiring artists/designers?
DON'T DO IT!*
*to please your parents
*if you are looking to become rich and/or famous
*to meet chicks/fellahs, cuz you'll be far too busy to ever go out on dates
DO!*
*because you WANT to
*because it is your passion and you want to share it with the world (or horde it like a miser!)
*because it is the only thing you've ever wanted to do (even MORE then a becoming a fireman, an indian chief, a ballerina or all of the above!)
Otherwise, become a fun-loving, free-wheeling boxcar hobo. The world could use a few more GOOD hobos.
