what's the idea behind your plates?
Just a reminder of how there are two sides to every plate.
give the wurst visitors your favorite recipe.
First consumed by me at the nice restaurant etienne
marcel in paris, the
Molleaux au Chocolat is a killer desert.
This is not their recepie, but I think it works well:
Moelleux au chocolat
Ingrediences:
100 g dark chocolate (<70% cocoa)
4 tbl spoons water
100 g butter
4 eggs
200 g icing sugar
100 g flour
1 pinch of salt
melt the chocolate with one tbl spoon water add the butter and mix well with
a spoon seperate the egg yolks and mix them in the chocolate mix.
add the icing sugar and flour. mix thoroughly.
beat the whites frothy and stir them very carefully into the mix pour into
rigid cupcake moulds of any kind bake at 160°C for about 5-10 minutes,
but not too long!
Ideally the surface should be like a sponge cake, and the center pure fluid
chocolate mix.
sprinkle some more icing sugar on top and serve immediately!
what contemporary artists are you inspired by?
When I was younger I think I liked artist whose work I found good. But the
more I've worked myself as a commercial artist I've found that I tend to respect
creatives who seem to manage the balance of their
ambition to their output in a succesful way, those who have a firm and realistic "grip" of
their talent and it's possibilities. There are many creatives like that but
two that comes to mind right now are danish fine
artist Peter
Land, and director Michel
Gondry.
last piece of art acquired?
A fantastic ceiling lamp made on comission by the radical craftsman extraordinaire Anders
Jakobsen a.k.a "Lagombra".
