what's the idea behind your piece?
From the series of works I have been creating recently, loosely titled “hug more trees”.
A reaction to the congestion of the city as well as a reminder of critical conservation issues facing us all.

what's your favorite thrift/antique/vintage store find?
Two vintage Lacoste polo’s for 50 cents each. So many old books that I can’t single any out.


what contemporary artists are you inspired by?
A broad range of street artists from around the world and in particular a large number of Australian street artists who have been rapidly transforming the local scene over the past couple of years. I am also constantly in awe of the talent of  a broad range of artists (graphic and others) including Chuck Anderson, Barry Mcgee, Gary Taxali, Human Five, Derrick Hodgson, Chris Ware, Microbo, and the list goes on.

Stickers from my man, c100 in Germany.

tell the audience what movie, book, album, website, tv show, and magazine you love that most people haven't seen/read/heard?
Four Tet, I have been really digging this music recently.

Prahran and Hosier Lane. Melbourne.

Hobart. Tasmania. Of all the places I have been that is.

any advice you can pass onto aspiring artists/designers?
Keep doing it for as long as you enjoy it.  Carry a small sketchbook."
