FARMER BOB - SEATTLE, WA

what's the idea behind your piece?
It is loosely based on the query, "When a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound?" When a still life is not being viewed does it have a life?

It has a generic name and great prices. "Thrift Store", 5435 Ballard Avenue, Seattle, WA 98107.

what contemporary artists are you inspired by?
Charles Bragg, Phil Frost, Gary Taxali, Tim Foss, Michael Sieben and of course Amy and David Sedaris.

last piece of art acquired?
A print by Erin Shafkind whom I am also collaborating with on some drawings/paintings.

tell the audience what movie, book, album, website, tv show, and magazine you love that most people haven't seen/read/heard?
Movie: LITTLE OTIK. About a piece of wood that comes to life and eats everyone in sight.
Book: WHY DUCHAMP by Gianfranco Baruchello and Henery Martin
Album: MARK LANEGAN. His new album "Bubblegum" is quite a treat. Dark and sad.
Website: Pigsell
TV show: SEINFELD. I know you've all heard of it, but I believe it to be the best sitcom ever. Everything else sucks.
Magazine: TOGGLE MAGAZINE. Interesting contributors.
