how did you hear about gocco?
My friend kaori kasai recommended it to me a few years ago after yet another screen printing disaster.

what do you like about gocco versus other mediums you work in?
I gocco - it’s a great way to make affordable prints on paper and fabric! And I can do it myself.

do you have any gocco tips/tricks?
I’ve just begun playing with several different colored inks on one screen, something you can’t do with traditional screen prints. This print was made with 2 screens and six ink colors!

what does love mean to you?
It’s the best!

what contemporary artists are you inspired by?
I’m more inspired by the things I draw than anything else, but anyone who loves to draw natural subjects is good in my book!

tell the audience what movie, book, album, website, tv show, and magazine you love that most people haven't seen/read/heard?
Right now i’m most inspired by nature field guide books.

favorite place in your town?
I’m between towns at the moment.

favorite place in the world?
Wherever my partner and dog are!

any advice you can pass onto aspiring artists/designers?
If you absolutely love what you do, keep doing it no matter what.
