We just shipped out a bunch of orders for our blank russian nesting dolls this week. If you've been waiting awhile for yours, thanks for your patience. If you just ordered a set, they could be delayed a few weeks until we receive our new stock.

the artists guide

check out the new zine series by wurstminster contributer matt cassity. the first in the series is the artists guide to making money, you can see the cover below and a sample spread from the brilliant andy rementer.

the artists guide to making money

the artists guide to making money

"Our first issue is dedicated to the topic of making money. We asked the tough questions; as a working artist, how do you make money? How much do you make? Is money the root of all evil? How would it feel to be a money-making pioneer with a printing press and paper and green ink and whatnot? We're getting the answers, and you can get them too...when you buy the book."

the beasts come out at night

if you haven't seen the new beasts book by fantagraphics yet, i highly recommend thee to go get yourself a copy now! the design/lineup/everything is amazing!

if that wasn't enough, the beasts crew took it to another level and put together an amazing set of 10 letterpress prints by some of the peeps from the book...but with new work! they only made 100 sets, and last i heard 30 sold. the only reason i'm passing this hot tip along is cuz the wurst already scored theirs! get yours!

below is an image of one of the pieces from the letterpress set, this one by souther salazar. in an effort to try and make your head explode with anticipation they're only releasing an image-a-day from the set.

Calendorks

From Mr. Spoons:
"12, or is it 13? Artists created new original work for our 2007 calendar and December show. Including a mighty line-up: Le Merde, The Reverend, APAK, Tim Biskup, Evan Harris, and more. The fantastic yarnhut spirit tent installation by David Wien is sadly gone, but now we have some real room for us to run around in the gallery.
The Calendar will be available at the show and online Friday as well.
There are also two toy releases at grass hut this Friday at noon.
Purple Nights Steven, and mini Pupstroyer which comes with a copy of PF#3"

the wurst web we weave

we've given into the wurst peer pressure of them all, myspace peer pressure. the kids say it's all the rage.

if you're in, come join the wurst space.
nevermind, it seems that the powers that be at myspace have deleted the wurst account without warning. we have long been opponents to this bastion of poor taste and unsolicited blaring music and we encourage all the wurst fans to join us in our protest of this pervert playground. 8^)

the wurst is not one to pass up another marketing opportunity, so we're also on the flickr.

we're really excited to have everyone who's bought a piece from the wurst or has been to a wurst party to add their wurst flickr photos to the the wurst flickr group.
